Things to Do in Houston: Free Admission to Museums on April 2-3, 2011

For you Houston Museum lovers, the first weekend in April is coming up — and that means free admission to museums for Bank of America cardholders April 2-3.  Bank of America’s national FREE program– “Museums on Us”– provides free admission to many museums on April 2-3. In the Houston area, this free admission weekend includes The Children’s Museum of Houston, the Houston Zoo and the newly-added Museum of Fine Arts. As part of the program, current Bank of America and Merrill Lynch debit and credit cardholders enjoy free admissions to many fine arts, cultural and education institutions throughout the nation on April 2-3, 2011.   The Museums on Us program has been a popular perk for BofA customers, who  can visit a participating institution free of charge on the first full weekend of every month, just by showing a Bank of America or Merrill Lynch debit or credit card along with photo identification

Bank of America Expands the Museums on Us Program

Bank of America’s  Museums on Us program in 2010 gave customers free access to 100 museums in 24 states and in 2011, Bank of America continues to expand the program. Now, there are 150+ museums in the program across 87 cities in 29 states. New additions to the Museums on Us program include the Hall of Science in New York, NASCAR Hall of Fame in North Carolina, and Chabot Space & Science Center in California.  Cardholders who present a Bank of America or Merrill Lynch debit or credit card along with a photo ID will be granted one free general admission. The program runs on the first full weekend of each month through December 3-4, 2011. Customers can also sign up for email and text message alerts as reminders to eligible weekends.
